Terms of service and privacy
Updated: 2026-08
These are HORDE's terms of service and privacy policy — one page, in plain words, honestly. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
What we collect
Your email address, watch history, and chat messages. We use them only to run the service — picking clips to recommend, keeping streams safe, and the like. We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising or marketing.
Infrastructure we run on
Like any streaming service, HORDE runs on infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf, under their own security terms: Hetzner (servers, EU), Cloudflare (networking and media storage/delivery), Resend (sign-in emails), Modal (AI transcription of streams for clips and captions), and your browser's push service (Google, Apple, or Mozilla) if you enable notifications. None of them may use your data for anything except providing that service to us.
Who runs HORDE
HORDE is an independent platform built and operated from Mongolia by a single developer — no company owns it. More on the about page. Questions, problems, legal requests: the email below reaches the operator directly.
Content
Your streams and clips remain yours. By uploading to HORDE you grant us the right to distribute them on the platform: to play them, turn them into clips, and recommend them to others.
Conduct
Don't use HORDE to break the law, harass or threaten people, share sexual content involving minors (reported to authorities, always), dox, spam, or impersonate others. Streams and chat are moderated; channel owners and their moderators can remove messages and ban users from their channels, and the platform can act on anything that violates these rules. If you see something, use the report button or the email below.
Copyright
Only stream and upload what you have the right to use — your own content, or content you have permission for. Rebroadcasting someone else's stream, movie, or match is not allowed. If your copyrighted work appears on HORDE without permission, email the address below with a link and proof of ownership and we will take it down. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
VOD storage
Stream recordings (VODs) are saved automatically — currently with no time limit. If you want any recording deleted, write to the address below.
Deletion
You can permanently delete your account yourself: Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate — your personal data is removed, your messages become anonymous, and your channel's recordings and clips are taken down. If you can't sign in, send a request to the email below instead and we will delete the account within 30 days.
Donations and payouts
Viewers can donate to creators through the platform (processed by Byl — QPay, SocialPay, Pocket). Donations settle to the platform's account first; creators are paid out weekly by bank transfer to the private account they set in Settings → Payouts, with a ₮10,000 minimum — smaller balances roll over to the next week. Until December 31, 2026 creators receive 100% of every donation; from January 1, 2027 the platform keeps 5% and creators receive 95%. The payment channels themselves (QPay and the like) charge about 1%, which the platform absorbs. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable except where a payment error occurred — they are gifts, not purchases, and buy nothing.
Creators are responsible for their own taxes on payouts. Donations that turn out to be fraudulent (stolen accounts, reversed payments) are deducted from the balance they were credited to. If your account is deleted or terminated while you have a balance, any honestly earned remainder is paid out in the next weekly round to the account on file — no account on file and we can't pay it, so keep it current.
Suspension and termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules — for spam and clear-cut abuse, immediately; otherwise with a warning where reasonable. Termination ends your access to the platform; your earned donation balance is still paid out as described above unless it came from fraud. You can stop using HORDE and delete your account at any time (see Deletion).
Age requirement
You must be 13 or older to use HORDE.
Liability
The service is provided “as is” — outages, bugs, and data loss may happen despite backups. We'll do our best to fix things fast, but we make no guarantees of availability or fitness for any purpose, and we are not liable for indirect damages: lost income from a stream that dropped, a missed donation, a deleted VOD. What creators say and stream is their own; the platform moderates but does not pre-approve content. To the extent a court finds us liable anyway, our total liability is capped at the amount the platform kept from your donations in the preceding 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform grows. Material changes — like the already-announced move from 0% to 5% on January 1, 2027 — are stated here with a date in advance, never applied retroactively. Continuing to use HORDE after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you don't, you can delete your account and any earned balance is paid out as described above.
